Nebet stared blankly at the wall, leaning on her elbow.. Kem should have been here by now, but then again, she was never on time.
Absent-mindedly, Kem began to flick the few crumbs she could find at the wall. The place was clean, and it had been quite hard to pick these small morsels of food from between the planks of the table. She wanted to leave already. It had always been her dream to have a dragon... Pictures of a great wyrm went floating through her head. A giant golden creature, and her on its back just as golden.
Her elbow slipped off the table with a bang, jolting her out of her revelry. She cursed slightly, picking a few splinters half-heartedly out of her arm, then returned to her blank staring. What she needed was a pet, she thought, smiling. Something warm and cuddly-not the ugly thing her sister had.

Narfarius entered the Tarnished Coin with Caelum tucked safely in his vest (which for once was buttoned). He feared that the cub would get rowdy and run off if he let the thing flounce about on his own. He had yet to train the young feline after all.
The half elf looked around the pub, noting the smiles and laughter that came from almost every being in the room. But then his eyes landed on Nebet. She was smiling, but looked rather bored at the same time.
Narfarius grinned and walked over, tucking Caelum further into his vest. He approached Nebets side and smiled down at her. "Hello, mind if I join you?" He asked, his voice dripping with all its polite goodness.

"What? Oh, sure," Nebet answered, smiling back and scooting to the side. She kept her face forward for awhile, then, overcome by curiosity, turned to face him.
"Whats your name?" she asked, flipping a few stray strands of hair out of her face. She desperately hoped that Kem wouldnt return-she didnt like it when she "fraternized". She shifted a bit more in her seat, crossing her legs and resting her cheek on her hand. "I'm Nebet."

"Narfarius Silverclaw" he answered, stretching out his hand for a shake. "And this is Caelum." he said as he gestures towards the panther cub hidden in his shirt. "A pleasure to meet you Nebet."

Nebet grinned, tilting her head. "And a pleasure to meet you. I was just waiting for someone..." she added with a shrug, frowning slightly. She smiled at Caelum. "What a cute cub. My sister has a pet...well, she doesn't like for me to clal it a pet, but that's basically what it is..."

"Oh, don't bother, really! She takes awhile, and it's nice to have company that talks," Nebet said, blushing slightly.
Ooc; Mwahaha. I'm waiting for Kem to be accepted.

Narfarius looked back over his shoulder with a wide eyed innocent expression. He turned around and rubbed the back of his neck nervously. Caelum looked up at him and cocked his head to the side with a questioning mewl.
"Really? Well then...I suppose I'll stay and be that talking company!" With that he slid back into his seat. Caelum started wriggle around in his vest, seemingly getting hot. "Alright alright." Narfarius said as he unbuttoned his vest to let the panther out. The cub hopped up onto the table and immediately layed upon its cooler surface. At that point, anything would seem cool to him, after being squashed next to nothing but hot skin for hours.

Enar strode into the neat and tidy pub and looked around. 'Maby a drink? Nah, never mind' he thought as he looked behind the bar. He looked around, all the patrons were human, no elves, but one person caught his eye. A half-elf sitting with a young lady across the pub.
He walked over and looked at the panther cub on the table grunted. 'That's not a pet' he thought as he set a hand on the table and leaned on it.
He looked at the young half-elf and grinned, then looked over to the young woman and smiled. "Hello," he said politely, well, as politely as he could manage. "I'm Enar Murynek, if you want to know, and I just have a quick question for the both of you." He looked around once more and grinned when his eyes fell on the half-elf again. "Do either of you know a half-elf named Bandoal? I wish to talk to him, it's about his parents," he said, sounding as grieved as he could. Inside he was grinning however.

Nebet stared at the small cat, wide-eyed. "He's adorable," she said, smiling widely, now able to see the cub more clearly after it's release from the vest's confinement. She started a bit, looking over to Enar. Her eyes quickly flashed over him, and then a sympathetic look slipped across her face. "Oh no, I don't know any Bandoal. Is something wrong?" she asked, tilting her head slightly, frowning deeply.
"Having fun, sister?" a cold voice drawled from behind her. Nebet let out a squeal, practically falling out of her chair as Kem leaned over her shoulder.
"K-kem! I-i-i d-didn't see you come in!" she stuttered, righting herself swiftly. "I was just waiting and Narfarius and Caelum and then he came in and--!" Kem cut her off abruptly with a flick of her hand.
"I don't care. And what have you done to benefit us today?" she asked, her eyes narrowing to glittering slits. Nebet began to babble on about the whistle and such, but Kem paid her little attention, surveying Enar and Narfarious with a blank face. She kept her left arm at her side, but idly flipped through a pouch with the other. A half-elf and an elf. A freak show. The corner of her face wrinkled in a sneer as memories of their 'family' flickered through her mind. The Caravan had been a place of unnaturals who could bend and twist, eat fire, and the likes. She suddenly cringed, pulling her left arm back a bit.
"Nebet, give me my pouch," she snapped, her body tightening in anticipation. "We're leaving now. I have little patience. While you were flirting about, I was working for supplies from some idiotic farmer. I even considered buying poor Lust a puppy. He hasn't had a treat in forever. Instead, you go wasting our gold on trinkets," she said coldly, snatching the small bag out of Nebet's hand.
Nebet stood in uncomfortable silence as her sister gathered up her pouches and strode off towards the door. "I'm really sorry," she murmured once her older sibling was out of range. "She's not in a good mood right now. Sorry," she said, her head bobbing as she too gathered her packs.

Enar frowned in thought then shook his head. "Everything's fine, don't you worry about it," he said to Nebet. He waved goodbye to the two and glanced at the young woman walking to the door.
'Parteners mabey? Or even sibblings?' he thought as he went out the back door. In the back alley behind the pub sat an eagle on a barrel, staring very intently at him.
"Did you find anything, Chaos?" he asked the eagle and raised an eyebrow. The eagle took wing and flew high into the air. Enar began to run, trying to keep up with Chaos.

Narfarius watched everyone leave, first the two sisters and then Enar. He scratched his head with a raised eyebrow and looked down at Caelum.
"Well...that was rather abrupt dont you think?" He asked the small cat. Caelum mewled in agreement as he wa picked up by his half elf owner. Narfarius sighed as he tucked the panther back into his vest and walked over to the bar. He bought a drink, swallowed it in two gulps and left the pub as he tossed some coins over his shoulder.
